Scottish Music
Pining for my Chicago days of Temple of Apollo, my Scottish Baroque ensemble, I wish to recreate at some point, with the lovely Liz Knowles on fiddle.

Jazz & Latin Music
Schooled by Ron Carter, Yusef Lateef, Billy Taylor and others, with some Latin spice thrown in, and add a wood-bodied electric cello, well, there you have it.

Tango Music
In addition to cello, piano & conducting,
I play melodica, the poor man's bandoneon, and am crazy about Carlos Gardel
's music. With my group, Tango Cafe, we perform 19th and early 20th c. tango music.

It's been my life's work to express and share emotions and feelings that can only be conveyed through music. Music has also been my ticket to travel and meet interesting people. Through teaching, educating, writing, composing, playing and listening, I hope that what I do moves the music in you, as well.

IT'S GOOD TO SEE YOU HERE.

This is my official website, created for all of my friends to keep up with my very hectic and sometimes borderline exhausting musical adventures. I've been blessed to make my living in the world of music — performing for appreciative audiences, and teaching to classrooms full of eager students; from the finest concert halls across the United States and the world, to classrooms and studios in Princeton, Chicago, and
Santa Fe.

Whether I'm composing new music, recording in a studio, or playing electric cello at La Posada in Santa Fe on a Friday night, this is the one place you can always go to get the latest info on what I'm doing. I'll be working hard to keep the information on my site current, so check back often — you never know when something new is going to pop up here for your musical enjoyment!
